A K Line bulker has berthed in Abu Dhabi in what is thought to be the first fully-laden capesize vessels to call at any Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) port.
The 183,123-dwt bulker Cape Taweelah (built 2017) was carrying its maiden bauxite cargo under a long-term charter with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA).
