Japan's K Line is forming a new bulker and LNG carrier owning company with Taiwanese interests.
Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), bulker owner U-Ming and Yang Ming dry cargo unit Kuang Ming will have stakes in the new operator.
The venture, which does not yet have a name, will own both coal and LNG carriers for contracts with Taipower.
