Details have been emerging about the first LNG export from Shell’s Prelude FLNG unit off north-west Australia.
Those working with the project said the first cargo transfer to a waiting LNG carrier took around 36 hours. They said this was longer than expected but commented that the energy major, which had encountered mooring issues with its commissioning shipments, was keen to get things right.
