Global Ship Lease (GSL) has fixed two vessels to two major shipping companies.
The London-based boxship owner is chartering 2,824-teu GSL Valerie (built 2005) to MSC for 12 months at $9,000 per day, beginning this month.
Feeder ships with 2,200 teus in capacity are getting $7,500 per day on average for voyages lasting six months to a year, according to Clarksons.
