United Heavy Lift (UHL)'s new managing partners have struck a deal with Spanish liner operator Marguisa to help them target African cargoes.
The partnership comes just weeks after Danish multipurpose (MPP) veterans Lars Bonnesen and Christian Monsted took a 25% stake in the Hamburg-based project, breakbulk and heavylift specialist.
The alliance with Marguisa is to help UHL develop a semi-liner service between Europe and West Africa, said Bonnesen, who has joined UHL's executive roster as one of three managing directors since becoming a shareholder in April.
