A nine-year-old panamax containership has reportedly been sent for demolition, according to shipbrokers.
The ship involved is reported to be the Synergy Marine-managed 5,100-teu Aeneas (built 2010), according to VesselsValue.
The online valuations platform said the 22,197-ldt ship was sold “as is” in Hong Kong for $450 per ldt, or just over $9.98m.
