French shipowner and contractor TechnipFMC has scooped a major contract to help commission Novatek's big new Arctic LNG 2 project.
The Russian producer said that its new partner would supply engineering, procurement, supply, construction and commissioning of an integrated LNG facility with annual liquefaction capacity of 19.8m.
The contract terms provide for the launch of the first train of the project in 2023.
