Greece's Technomar Shipping is said to have bought a post-panamax containership pair from clients of Germany's Zeaborn GmbH & Co.
The vessels in question are the 7,849-teu sisterships ER Montecito and ER Santa Barbara (both built 2004). London-based brokers report them as sold to George Youroukos-led Technomar for $15.5m each.
The price is said to involve a long-term time charter for the pair, which was built at Hyundai Heavy Industries.
