A suezmax tanker from the Stena-Sonangol suezmax pool has been targeted by criminals off the east coast of India, it has emerged.
The incident involving the 158,425-dwt Sonangol Namibe (built 2007) happened last month, but has gone largely unreported by the media.
Details have just been reported by the Singapore-based Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP).
