Norway's Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) is in talks with a Chinese yard to renegotiate the terms of a deal that will see it acquire two multipurpose offshore support vessel newbuildings.
The right to acquire the Energy Empress and Energy Duchess, both PX121H designs, was agreed last June with Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering (ROC).
It had until January this year to close the deal.
