Swedish shipping companies Wallenius and Swedish Orient Line (SOL) have inked eco-friendly newbuildings for a new Nordic joint venture.
Wallenius SOL will carry forestry products and other goods in a network covering the Gulf of Bothnia, the Baltic Sea and the North Sea, they said on Tuesday.
The companies view the partnership as an investment to strengthen infrastructure for the needs of Finnish and Swedish industry.
