Malaysia has finally found a buyer for a $250m luxury yacht linked to a state fraud probe.
Attorney General Tommy Thomas said the 3,000-gt Equanimity (built 2014) is being snapped up by the Genting Malaysia cruiseship and gaming group for $126m, slightly less than the $130m guide price, Kyodo News reported.
"This will rank as the highest recovery to date for the government of Malaysia from the 1MDB scandal," Thomas added in a statement.
