The patched-up cruiseship Viking Sky is due to leave Norway on Wednesday following its headline-making encounter with a storm a week and a half ago.

The 48,000-gt Viking Ocean Cruises vessel (built 2017) will head to Copenhagen in Denmark from Kristiansund, according to the Norwegian Maritime Directorate.

Directorate personnel are on board together with representatives of class society Lloyd's Register to check on improvements that have now been implemented,

AIS data shows it still moored in Kristiansund on Wednesday morning.
