Kyklades Maritime of Greece is being linked to an order for a series of suezmax newbuildings at Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Shipbuilding sources said the Alafouzos family company is further strengthening its relationship with the South Korean shipbuilder by booking up to four 158,000-dwt crude tankers. The deal involves two firm vessels plus two options.

“We understand a letter of intent for the suezmaxes has already been signed,” said a shipbuilding source.
