European anti-piracy task force EU Navfor has helped strengthen prosecution pathways in the Seychelles.
The agency said it had teamed up with the UN's Office on Drugs and Crime to train local police and lawyers.
The idea is to help with continued improvement and development of all areas within the legal process, from the capture to conviction of suspected pirates, it said.
