Japanese giant NYK has ordered a new bulker at Oshima Shipbuilding backed by a long-term charter to Mitsubishi Paper Mills.
The 59,900-dwt vessel will carry wood-chip, the owner said.
It will be able to load 4.3m cbf and will be of the latest eco-design.
This will allow the ship to "perform well in all types of weather while ensuring low water resistance and high efficiency," NYK added.
