John Fredriksen’s tanker company Frontline has locked one of its suezmax tankers into a one-year charter with Repsol.
The Spanish oil company has chartered the 156,000-dwt Front Loki (built 2010) at a rate suggested to be $23,500 per day.
Oslo-based broker Fearnleys says the 12-month time-charter rate for a suezmax is $24,000 per day.
