Energy major ExxonMobil has fixed a VLCC newbuilding for seven years from K Line, according to European shipbrokers.
They peg the rate at $31,500 per day, with delivery later this year.
The oil major has a policy of not commenting on such market reports.
Earlier this month, TradeWinds reported that ExxonMobil had taken the 300,000-dwt Universal Leader (built 2019) from Korea Line on similar terms.
