Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) has confirmed a suezmax newbuilding order to meet a long-term contract.
TradeWinds broke news of TEN’s two-tanker deal at Hyundai Heavy Industries in late January.
In a statement on Friday, the New York-listed shipowner said the vessels had been booked against a possible $300m employment package.
