MAN Energy Solutions has confirmed that a VLGC ordered in China by Tianjin Southwest Maritime (TSM) will feature LPG-burning main engines.
The German engine builder said the 86,000-cbm gas carrier will be fitted with a MAN B&W 6G60ME-LGIP engine.
The newbuilding is scheduled for delivery from Jiangnan Shipyard in the second half of 2021 and includes an option for a second vessel.
