Hapag-Lloyd has appointed adjuster Richards Hogg Lindley (RHL) to oversee the general process following the fire on Yantian Express.
The 7,150-teu boxship (built 2002) suffered a blaze on 3 January off Canada, forcing crew to evacuate.
General average was declared this week and the vessel is heading to the Bahamas.
