US-listed Eagle Bulk Shipping has continued its fleet renewal with another ultramax acquisition and the sale of two older bulkers.
The company said a high-specification 2015-built SDARI-64 vessel has been bought for $20.4m and renamed Cape Town Eagle.
It was built at Cosco Zhoushan Shipyard.
TradeWinds first reported the deal earlier this month, as brokers linked Lomar's 63,800-dwt Queen Cuki (built 2015) to Eagle Bulk.
