Αt least some of the VLCCs ordered by Navios Group at Imabari Shipbuilding last year may be backed by long-term employment with Dubai-based Al-Iraqia Shipping Services & Oil Trading (AISSOT), market sources suggest.
Angeliki Frangou ordered four VLCCs at the Japanese yard, due for delivery in 2020 and 2021, according to an Imabari statement at the end of last year.
