State-owned Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) is planning to order 26 more tankers and bulkers to renew its fleet.
Its board of directors told reporters that the move would be in addition to three 39,000-dwt tankers and three 39,000-dwt bulkers already being delivered from a Yangzijiang yard in China.
The government has already given permission for the next series of six to be built.
