Icelandic container line Eimskip has hired an experienced banker as its new CEO.
Vilhelm Mar Porsteinsson is replacing Gylfi Sigfusson on 24 January.
Sigfusson is heading to the US to run Eimskip there and in Canada, as well as Eimskip Logistics.
Porsteinsson is managing director of corporate and investment banking at Islandsbanki.
