ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) says it has cut fuel consumption and carbon emissions by 23% across its fleet of 27 ships.
The vessel-operating arm of the Abu Dhabi oil giant said the Al Daffah energy efficiency project uses digitisation to improve energy performance, including to aid route planning, improve fuel monitoring and optimise engine speed.
It has also installed more efficient propellers and used high-performance hull coating to improve ship thrust.
