DSD Shipping is moving two ships into the fleet of Teekay Tankers, meaning its four aframaxes will all be operated by the New York-listed giant.
This month, the Norwegian tanker company’s 105,300-dwt Stavanger Eagle and Stavanger Falcon (both built 2009) are coming off long-term bareboat charters to AET, which was paying a firm $18,000 per day.
DSD chief executive Oddvar Hausken confirmed that the duo are joining the Teekay Tankers fleet.
