Low-profile Poseidon Global Shipping of Singapore has emerged as the buyer of a Jinhui Shipping & Transportation bulker that was sold at the end of last month.
Oslo and Hong Kong-listed Jinhui announced on 2 January that it had sold a supramax for $7.4m but did not disclose the identity of the buyer.
The company has now confirmed it unloaded the 50,000-dwt Jin Zhou (built 2001) and that it will be delivered to Poseidon Global between 15 February and 31 March.
