Sweden's Concordia Maritime has devised an online quiz that tests the shipping industry's knowledge of the problem posed by plastic waste in the oceans.
This year the tanker company started a collaboration with the non-profit organisation Keep Sweden Tidy, and during the autumn it organised a coastal clean-up operation in Gothenburg.
"Now we present a web quiz with the common goal to illuminate and spread knowledge about marine littering and its consequences for the environment," it said.
