Long-serving Eimskip CEO Gylfi Sigfusson is leaving his post at the end of this month.
The company said he will head to the US to run Eimskip there and in Canada, as well as Eimskip Logistics, of which he was the managing director before taking the top job at the group in 2008.
Chairman Baldvin Porsteinsson said: “Gylfi Sigfusson has had a successful career at Eimskip for over 28 years.
