EMAS Offshore’s proposed rescue deal with Udenna Corp has not been able to prevent the sale of the 10,800-bhp AHTS Lewek Penguin (built 2007), which will be sold via a sealed tender auction next Tuesday.
The vessel was arrested in August by ST Engineering Marine over a shipyard repair claim totalling SGD 852,346 ($619,924).
A recent survey of the vessel commissioned by the High Court of Singapore described the vessel as being in a sound, serviceable condition.
