Navios Maritime Holdings has swapped one of its panamaxes for a supramax.
The Greek bulker player this month sold its 74,333-dwt Navios Magellan (built 2000) for $7m cash to an unrelated third party.
Meanwhile, the company took delivery of the 53,464-dwt Navios Primavera (built 2007) from Shoei Kisen Kaisha through a $10.5m purchase option.
As a result, the 70-strong fleet's average age fell 17% to eight years while capacity gained 8% to 7.1
