Norway's Awilco LNG has cancelled some planned yard work on one of its ships to take advantage of record LNG carrier rates.
The company said its 156,000-cbm WilPride (built 2013) is heading to drydock for 20 days at a cost of $3.3m.
But it will now be back in the spot market in early December after the owner scrapped upgrades to reduce boil-off in order to avoid additional off-hire.
