BW Dry Cargo has returned to the sale-and-purchase market to quietly acquire a kamsarmax resale nearing its delivery date at a major Japanese shipbuilder, sources said.
It is understood to have bought the ship from John Su’s Erasmus Shipinvest, which was not previously known to have any newbuildings on its books.
BW Dry Cargo has been quieter on the buying front this year after exploding onto the scene in 2016 with a series of purchases.
