India’s Seven Islands Shipping has sold two of its veteran tankers for scrap, sources say.
The 157,400-dwt Saffron (built 1998) is said to have been sold “as is” in Colombo. It has 700 tons of bunkers and is sold in a full gas-free condition for $10.4m.
