Norway's Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) has taken the next step along its road to autonomous shipping.
It has signed two agreements to develop operational and regulatory frameworks with DNV GL, the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA) and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN).
The first focuses on the development of a safety management system (SMS), while the second concerns future competence.
