Greek handysize bulker owner Dalex Shipping has denied reports connecting it with a move into the supramax market.
It comes as compatriot Diligent Holdings is developing its fledgling presence in the sector.
Brokers are connecting Dalex to the Iwagi built 53,000-dwt Maemi Spirit (built 2008) in an $11m deal.
However, officials at the shipowner say the company has not bought the bulker.
