Greek owner Laskaridis Shipping has been identified as the buyer of an abandoned platform supply vessel (PSV), marking its entry into the recovering offshore shipping sector.
The 4,500-dwt Malaviya Twenty (built 2004) spent more than two years in Great Yarmouth, UK, after its Indian owner GOL Offshore collapsed.
It was auctioned by the UK Admiralty Marshal last month for $1.076m
