Greece’s Minerva Maritime has ordered a pair of LNG carrier newbuildings at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea, boosting its emerging new gas fleet to four vessels.
Industry sources said the company is sitting on a string of options at the shipyard.
They added that the vessels are expected to be constructed with GTT’s Mark III Flex Plus cargo containment system, mirroring GasLog’s move to adopt this new technology on its LNG newbuildings.
