Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping is rejigging its fleet by beefing up its presence in the tanker space.
The Idan Ofer-controlled company has bumped up its tanker fleet with four MRs and two LR2 product tanker newbuildings.
Eastern Pacific, which has been selling bulkers but boosting its containership fleet, confirmed it had returned to Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction (HHIC) in the Philippines to sign up for a pair of 114,000-dwt product carriers to be delivered in the first quarter of 2020.
