Brazilian mining giant Vale hit a new record in the third quarter, producing nearly 105 million tonnes of iron ore.
Vale's ramp up of its S11D project fueled the iron ore output rise to 104.9 metric tonnes, a 10% year-on-year jump.
The record production pushes Vale's yearly output to 400 metric tonnes.
