Italian yard group Palumbo has taken over Croatian shiprepairer Viktor Lenac.
"This move represents a strategic complement to Palumbo’s current shipyard portfolio," it said.
Palumbo manages shipyards in Naples, Ancona, Messina, Savona, Marseilles, Malta and Tenerife.
Lenac is strong in shiprepair and conversions, and also in the design and construction of offshore installations.
The Hina news agency said Palumbo and the linked P&L Shiprepair Holding company now hold an 82% stake in Lenac.
