Energy major ExxonMobil will supply low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) with a sulphur content of 0.5% that meet the IMO’s incoming 2020 requirements in three key bunker areas in Asia.
Bloomberg quotes ExxonMobil’s vice president for Asia Pacific fuels business Matt Bergeron, who works in the company’s Fuels & Lubricants arm, as saying these will be available in Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand, without specifying a port in the latter country.
