Singapore will provide shipowners with a list of licensed bunker suppliers of low-sulphur fuels in the city state six months before the IMO 2020 sulphur cap is due to kick in.
The initiaitive was one of several announced by the Maritime Port Authority (MPA) at the opening of the Singapore International Bunkering Conference and Exhibition (SIBCON) on Wednesday.
