The stable product tanker period-charter market has seen a leading Danish pool operator reportedly secure employment for two MR newbuildings.
Brokers said that the 50,000-dwt Nord Jewel and Nord Joy are fixed to Shell for six months at $13,100 per day with an option for a further six months at $14,500. However, some report the rate for the first six months to be $13,250 per day.
