BW Dry Cargo has boosted its presence in the capesize segment with the addition of a Japanese-controlled vessel.
The company has purchased the 179,000-dwt Tenshu Maru (built 2010) from Kambara Kisen for $29.5m, which is largely in line with expectations.
Christian Bonfils, managing director of BW Dry Cargo, said he cannot confirm such a deal.
