Finnish marine technology giant Wartsila has claimed to have won the world's first "LPG as fuel" order for two Exmar newbuildings.
The company said it is providing an integrated cargo handling and fuel gas system for the 80,000-cbm VLGCs being built at Samsung's Subic Bay yard in the Philippines.
They are the first that will be capable of running on LPG.
