Bahri looks to have completed the sale of the largest tanker to head for scrap this year.
The Saudi shipowner had been circulating the 300,000-dwt Ramlah (built 1996) for demolition and multiple brokers and cash buyers now believe a deal has been completed.
A price of around $440 per ldt is said to have been paid for the ship, which at 48,100-ldt represents a flagship deal for a scrapyard.
