Croatia’s government hopes to hold crisis talks with the head of Siem Shipping next week in a last ditch effort to save an order at Uljanik Shipyard for four newbuildings from the Norwegian shipowner.
Siem Shipping chief executive Kenneth Ross is expected to travel to Croatia next week for talks with government officials after the company announced it had cancelled the car carrier order, according to sources close to the yard.
