Shipowners using Brazilian ports have been warned that drug smugglers may target their vessels in a bid to export drugs to the west.
“Drug smugglers in Brazil continue to target commercial shipping,” said UK-based security consultancy Gray Page.
“Much of the cocaine reaching Europe is thought to have moved through the Port of Santos.”
